I wonder if it's worth sharing some kind of quick primer on how to write accessibly about science (chemistry in particular)? Things like opening with a relatively jargon-free paragraph outlining the things most likely to be of interest to a general reader with no chemistry background? For me, this is by far the greatest weakness in Wikipedia's science coverage, and it's especially glaring for chemistry - articles being written in such a way that the general reader can get nothing out of them, and even those with some science background are often put off at the first hurdle. --Oolong (talk) 09:04, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
