Hutchinson is weird, and not very good! Some of it looks as if it's been OCRed, or just retyped very badly. No reason not to have lots of redirects - the fact that something's in Hutchinson, even if misspelt, means that someone might come looking for it in Wikipedia. They dont even have birth/death dates in a lot of their articles! as for redirects, I think you just have to make a judgement, e.g. is it plain stupid or is it a possible/common typo? Bluemoose 11:26, 28 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Article??

[edit]

Is there a reason why there is no wikipedia article on the Hutchinson Encyclopedia itself? It seems kind of funny to be doing all this work and not even have a page about the encyclopedia.... Womble 06:02, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If you google "Hutchinson encyclopedia" (and i mean the whole www, not just wikipedia), this project is the 5th result! I'll make a stub for it now. Martin - The non-blue non-moose 09:13, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wrack

[edit]

The Hutchinson Encyclopedia entry for wrack just gives a dictionary definition as an archaic variation of rack, and so I don't think it needs an article in wikipedia. Should it just be deleted from the list or what? --G Rutter 21:33, 26 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I'd like to see at least a redirect for every article listed in any of the encyclopedias such as EB, Hutchinson, Nuttall, etc... Perhaps you could put in a brief entry with a link to the Wiktionary article on "rack" ? Womble 09:26, 29 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
