Swarth Fell (Hewitt) & Hugh Seat (Nuttall) were deleted by User:Ras52

They are less known - perhaps because they are not on major tourist routes (but all the more enjoyable to walk for that)! But both are distinctive, well defined outliers of more than 2000ft; and the summit of Hugh Seat is marked with an historic pillar, erected by Lady Anne Clifford in 1664. But the section you have added them to is a list of "Marilyns over 2000 feet outside Scotland". Both hills miss being a Marilyn by a long way, and because of that, they do not belong in a list of Marilyns over 2000 feet outside Scotland. I have removed them again. — ras52 (talk) 12:31, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, sorry to have put them back. I accept that, as they are not Marilyns, they shouldn't be in that list - so I won't add them again. But as fells with summits over 600m, and as distinct geographical features of their area,(and in the case of Hugh Seat having a historic pillar marking the summit) they deserve an entry somewhere, even if not as a part of this project. Oh, they can have articles, and be part of the British and Irish Hills Wikiproject without being listed on this page. — ras52 (talk) 14:29, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - I'll get around to adding articles on them (sometime). Over and out! John Hamilton (talk) 14:33, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have now added Hugh Seat & Swarth fell (correctly described this time - I hope) OldFaw (talk) 16:56, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
