Expansion of scope [Liechtenstein]

I have been bold and expanded the breadth of the project to include the neighboring state of Liechtenstein. It currently does not fall within the specific scope of any project, and I believe is closely enough related to Switzerland that it would fit comfortably here as well. One needs to look twice at the banner of all the Princes of Liechtenstein to see why they are tagged with the project banner (e.g. Talk:Prince Wenzeslaus of Liechtenstein). -- User:Docu
{{WikiProject EuropMicrostates}} has now a Liechtenstein specific working group. Thus I removed "Liechtenstein" from {{WikiProject Switzerland}}. Settings for the new banner is, e.g. {{WikiProject European Microstates|class=B|importance=high|Liechtenstein=yes|nested=yes}}. -- User:Docu

Recent peer review on Switzerland

Just thought I'd post a link to the three-month old peer review of the article on Switzerland here It inludes a detailed list by another user and a link to an automated peer review. For what it's worth. ---Sluzzelin 05:46, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

WW2

i would like to write a detailed, well-referenced article about Switzerland during WW2. the current ones are kind of strange.. 1 paragraph about the whole war and then 2 rather biased and unreferenced paragraphs about the Al D'Amato thing? where would be the best place to link a new article in?

--Bababoef 22:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

i put a general article on the main switzerland page, and made a separate article about the World Jewish Congress lawsuit. Bababoef 08:26, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

In the French wikipedia there is a page which contains a list of lakes in Switzerland which have a dam ( Liste des lacs de barrage de Suisse ). I can and am willing to add this to the English wikipedia, but I would like to know if such a page is wanted in the English version?

Also a lot of lakes which have a dam don't note the existence of the dam at the moment, or don't have a page / redirect on the name of the dam. The fact that the lake has a dam could be added to the articles on the lakes, and a redirect could be made from the name of the dam.

(Category:Dams in Switzerland only has 2 links to dams, while some articles on lakes have information on their dam, but are not added in this category.

Is it an idea that I look in this things, or is it better not to do that? henkalex 15:14, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Sure, do go ahead, that would appear to be valuable additions to me. Sandstein 12:45, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Bilateral relations discussion

I would like to invite you all to participate in a discussion at this thread regarding bilateral relations between two countries. All articles related to foreign relations between countries are now under the scope of WikiProject Foreign relations, a newly created project. We hope that the discussion will result in a more clean and organized way of explaining such relationships. Thank you. Ed ¿Cómo estás? 18:51, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Swabian War GA Sweeps Review: On Hold

As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. I'm specifically going over all of the "Conflicts, battles and military exercises" articles. I have reviewed Swabian War and believe the article currently meets the majority of the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. In reviewing the article, I have found there are some issues that may need to be addressed, and I'll leave the article on hold for seven days for them to be fixed. Please consider helping address the several points that I listed on the talk page of the article, which shouldn't take too long to fix. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. --Nehrams2020 23:09, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
