William John McCoy was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from Beetown.

Biography

McCoy was born on September 30, 1834 in Argyle, New York.[1] He moved to Beetown, Wisconsin in 1852 and to Lancaster, Wisconsin in 1880. McCoy died on June 28, 1897.

Career

McCoy was elected to the Assembly in 1875 and would serve four terms. Additionally, he was Chairman of the Beetown Board from 1869 to 1875. He was a Democrat.
