William Millar (politician)

William Millar was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Biography

Millar was born near Dublin, Ireland on October 5, 1839.[1] He would marry Sarah Jane McCormick. Among their children was James D. Millar, who would also become a member of the Assembly. Millar died at his home in Red Cedar, Wisconsin on February 5, 1913.

Career

Millar was a member of the Assembly during the 1887 session.[2] Later, he represented the 30th District in the Senate during the 1889 and 1891 sessions. He was a Republican.
