William James Robinson was a Canadian Anglican bishop in the second half of the 20th century.[1]

Robinson was born on 8 September 1916, educated at Bishop's University, Lennoxville[2] and ordained in 1940.[3] After a curacy in Trenton he was Rector of Madoc. Further incumbencies in Napanee, Belleville and Guelph followed before his appointment as Archdeacon of Trafalgar (comprising the area surrounding Oakville, Burlington, and Halton in the Diocese of Niagara) in 1968. In 1970 he became the Bishop of Ottawa, retiring in 1981. He died on 9 July 2002.
