Winnsboro Independent School District is a public school district based in Winnsboro, Texas, United States. Located in northeastern Wood County, the district extends into southeast Hopkins and southern Franklin counties. In 2013, the school district was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]

Winnsboro ISD has three campuses -

  • Winnsboro High School (Grades 9-12)
  • Memorial Middle School (Grades 5-8)
  • Winnsboro Elementary School (Grades PK-4)

Winnsboro ISD

Winnsboro ISD is a state recognized district in Texas. The district has been led by Superintendent Susan Morton since July, 2014. The high school principal is David Pinnell, middle school principal is Jeff Akin, and elementary principal is Kristie Lamersin.
