Wī Huata

Wiremu Te Tau Huata, CBE, QSO, MC (23 September 1917 – 20 December 1991), was a New Zealand Anglican priest and military chaplain. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngati Kahungunu iwi. He was born in Mohaka, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand on 23 September 1917.[1]
