Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo was a children's hospital in Buffalo, New York. It was a pediatric facility serving patients in Western New York and parts of Southern Ontario. It was a teaching hospital loosely affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo.
History
Early history
The original hospital was founded in 1892.[1]
Modern history
After its merger with Kaleida Health, the facility was renamed Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. The hospital was closed and its services were moved to the newly built John R. Oishei Children's Hospital on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus in November of 2017.[2]
