Wright Lafate Anderson is an American football coach in the United States.[1]

Coaching career

Anderson was the head college football coach for the Elon Phoenix located in Elon, North Carolina. He held that position for the 1982 and 1983 seasons.[2] His coaching record at Elon was 14 wins and 6 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2013 season, this ranks him #13 at Elon in total wins and #3 at the school in winning percentage (.700).[3][4]

In 1984, Anderson left Elon to accept a post as assistant coach of the Oklahoma Outlaws football team.[5]
