Gray Matter Interactive Studios, Inc. (formerly Xatrix Entertainment, Inc.) was an American video game developer based in Los Angeles, California. Founded as Xatrix Entertainment on March 25, 1993, by Drew Markham and Barry Dempsey, the company was renamed Gray Matter Interactive on June 17, 1999, and acquired by Activision on January 14, 2002. In 2005, the studio was merged into Treyarch, another California-based Activision studio.
