YES TV (Formally Youth TV) is the public service broadcasting Half-Day Teen and Sports TV channel of the Maldives. It was formed on March 8, 2016. the channel "YES" was descriped "Youth, Entertainment and Sports."
In late 2009, MNBC launched "Youth TV", a half-day television channel that airs in the evening. This channel is aimed at the teens and youth of the Maldives. The channel is no longer airing.
After 4-year hitaus, Youth TV was Relahuched into "YES TV" This channel is only shows Archived Entertainment including Comedy to thriller, Archived Songs and Live Sport events like Dhivehi Premier League, SAFF Championship, etc.
YES TV along with Munnaaru TV in the association with Ministry of Education was also show "Telikilaas" (Tele-Class) series during COVID-19 Lockdown in 2020, The Ministry of Education has won UNESCO Wenhui Award for Educational Innovation for their online learning "Telekilaas" series.[1]
YES TV was the licensed Broadcaster of 2020 Summer Olympics, 2022 FIFA World Cup[2]and 2024 UEFA Euro.[3]
