The song was released as the third single from the album, also it was the group's third consecutive number-one US R&B song. The song spent one week at number one on the US Top R&B Songs chart and peak to number fifty-seven on the US Hot 100 chart. The song is led entirely by Cindy Herron, and in 1991 the group appeared and performed the single on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
