Yousuf Ayub Khan (born 1961) is a Pakistani politician and businessman.[1] He is a grandson of former military dictator and president Ayub Khan.[citation needed].

Yousuf Ayub was born in village Rehana in Haripur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. His father was supposedly Mr Shaukat Ayub,[citation needed] son of late Ayub Khan and brother of politician Gohar Ayub Khan.[citation needed] He is a Hindkowan of the Tareen tribe.[2] He was educated at the Army Burn Hall College, Abbottabad, Pakistan, passing high school.[3]

He won several elections in the past and also remained a provincial minister, but in 2013 he was disqualified by a court, due to presenting a fake degree as a qualification.[4] Allegations of corruption in awarding government tenders have also been leveled against him in the press.[5]

Khan has changed parties several times and is at this moment a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, although his status within this party also seems rather dubious following his 2015 volte face.[6] He has been recently viewed as either 'mentally deranged' or a conniver of the highest order.[7] Charges of large scale financial corruption have also been made against him.[5]
