In April 26, 2003, he committed suicide in protest against South Korean Homosexuals Discriminations. In 2002 to 2003 he was activity for LGBT right Movement and Conscientious objector, activity for opposition of homosexual discrimination. In 2003, he was activity Conscientious objection, anti-war & peace movements.[2] In March 2003, he was conscientious objection.
In April 26, 2003, he was a suicide, protest for homosexual discrimination of South Korea.[3][4] His pen name was Yook Woo-dang (육우당,[5] 六友堂, six friend's home) and nicknames were Seolheon (설헌, 雪軒), Midong (미동, 美童, beautiful boy). baptismal name was Antonio.
Life
Yun Hyon-seok was born in 1984, Bupyong, Incheon.[2] he was born into a devout Roman Catholic family.[2] His real name was Hyon-seok,[6] so he wanted to open real name for him, but around opposed to can not reveal of his real name.[7] When he was a student, he was bullied and this led him to drop out of Incheon High School in 2002.[8] After then, he went to Dongdaemun District in Seoul.
He relied on Green tea(녹차), Foundation, Alcohol, Tobacco, Rosary, and Sleeping pills. During his lifetime, he wrote under his pseudonym, Yukwudang which meant six Objects he relied on. From boyhood time, he was writing more Poet and prose, column. but his article was ostracism of fundamentalist Christians and exclusionist, reason is because he is LGBT.
In his early years, he wrote poetry, prose and articles, though his poetry and writing got rejected due to the social prejudice in South Korea. 10 years after his death in 2003, a collection of his work was published in 2013.
In 2002, he joined Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea,[9] in which he worked for a part-time job later. In 2003, he was working in Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea in pursuit of Gay rights, Sexual minorities rights and Human right movements. also he was activity for opposition of homosexual discrimination, anti-homophobia movement's. In March 2003, he was a Member of the Anti-War and Peace Movements and Conscientious objection to military service.[2]
In 2003, some South Korean conservative Christianity was pushing Legislation movement of prohibiting homosexual and hate movement of Gay, Lesbian, Transgenders. So Yun left suicide note saying he opposes Discrimination against homosexuals.[10] In 26 April 2003, he committed Suicide to Dongdaemun street in Seoul,[11] hanging himself on doorknob.

His nickname was Yook Woo-dang which means home of Six friends(Green tea Foundation, Alcohol, Tobacco, Rosary, Sleeping pills.)[12] The other pen name was Seolheon, Abbreviation of Heo Nanseolheon(허난설헌, 許蘭雪軒)'s name.[13]
