Zhou Daxin (Chinese: 周大新; pinyin: Zhōu Dàxīn; born 1952) also known by his pen name Pǔdù (普度). He is a Chinese novelist who was the president of Henan Literature Academy.[1][2][3][4]

Biography

Zhou was born into a family of farming background in Dengzhou, Henan in 1952.[1][2][3][5]

In 1970, after high school, Zhou joined the People's Liberation Army.[1][2][3]

Zhou started to publish works in 1979.[5] Zhou was graduated from Xi'an Institute of Politics (西安政治学院) in 1985, then he entered Lu Xun Literary Institute.[1][2][3]

Zhou joined the China Writers Association in 1988. In 1999, Zhou became the president of Henan Literature Academy (河南文学院).[1][2][3]
