Zoe Pilger (born 1984) is a British author and art critic. Her first novel, Eat My Heart Out won a Betty Trask Award and a Somerset Maugham Award and she is in the process of writing a second novel.[1] She is the daughter of author, John Pilger, and journalist, Yvonne Roberts.[2] She is currently living in Berlin.[1]

Career

Pilger has been an art critic for a British newspaper, The Independent since 2012. Her first novel, Eat My Heart Out was published by Serpent's Tail. The novel has been described as a post-feminist satire about modern romance.[3]

She is currently researching her PhD on romantic love and sadomasochism in the work of female artists at Goldsmiths, University of London.[4]
