Totophe~enwiki → Totophe-com
- Current name: Totophe~enwiki (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · target logs · block log · list user · global contribs · central auth · Google) (ping user)
- Requested name: Totophe-com (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · target logs · block log · list user · global contribs · central auth · Google)
- Previous renames: current user, target user, Queue: open req, closed req
- AntiSpoof: antispoof check
- For global renamer: rename user
- Datestamp: 09:32, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Reason: Unfortunately, I lost my username Totophe that I had since a long time on Wikipedia when you applied your rename policy. Although I use it globally (totophe.com, twitter, linkedin, ...) I understand that I cannot ask to get back my "Totophe" username. The closest username is then "Totophe-com" which is not used. Thanks in advance, totophe Totophe~enwiki (talk) 09:32, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

- Reason: Short, but slightly different version of my name. Also inconspicously shows a reference to Star Trek, something that I like. Also, I've checked to see if User:Phaser exists, and it does not. The Phase Master 19:11, 23 February 2017 (UTC) The Phase Master 19:11, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

Wha...? But it does! —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 19:14, 23 February 2017 (UTC) - Robot clerk note: I have detected the following problems:
- The requested username is already registered; see Special:Listusers. However, as this requested account has made no edits, it meets the criteria for being usurped; if you wish to usurp it, please read and follow the process at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations. If you do not wish to usurp the username, please choose another name to be renamed to.
- There is already a global account registered for Phaser (primary wiki: dewiki).—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 19:20, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oh... For a moment, I thought that when it said the userpage didn't exist, that the user didn't exist. Oops. I guess I'll take this to Usurp instead. The Phase Master 19:23, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- @The Phase Master: Doesn't look eligible for usurpation either... those 70+ edits on de.wikipedia.org are probably enough to preclude renaming. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 19:26, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- @K6ka: But... the account hasn't been in use ever since Sept. 23, 2015. Still no? The Phase Master 19:51, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- @The Phase Master: September 2015 wasn't that long ago. And no, it's not merely time that makes an account eligible for usurpation or not, but about the significance of their edits. If all the edits were 1) Immediately reverted, 2) All deleted, or 3) Only made in userspace that can be deleted, then the account may be eligible for usurpation. I don't believe this is the case here, sadly. You can ask the user to see if they're willing to consent to the usurpation, but if they decline or don't respond, we can't proceed. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 19:54, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

- Mankind1997, your one and only edit to all of Wikimedia is filing this request. Since username changes take up valuable server resources, and since you just want to stop using this account, I'm going to mark this request as Not done. If you don't want to use your account, you may simply stop using it. If you wish to erase all previous traces of your username (Which you don't have many to begin with), see this page. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 17:05, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

- Reason: Family stalking: I used to sign-up for pratically any website (social networks included) with the same current Wikipedia username; now it seems like some "family" member is taking the big plunge and bother all the time. I'd just like to make this username vanishing once and for all. Thank you so much for the attention and patience. Mikesunlight (talk) 13:20, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
