Request reason:

The block is no longer necessary because I understand that I was blocked for an inappropriate user name, which I should have read the policies in full before setting up my account. I would like to change my username to one that complies with Wikipedia username policy. I mainly use wikipedia as a source of information, but sometimes I want to contribute, whether it's citing a reference, adding information or fixing spelling and grammar.
