Thank you for helping us control vandalism at WP:AIV. =) coelacan18:20, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

At Barry Winchell, I corrected the incorrect capitalisation of a heading (please read the MoS!) and removed the additional spaces before the cites to bring the article into line with standard layout. You reverted this with no justification. Please could you explain, as I can't see what I've done wrong? Thanks 86.152.203.212 20:58, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no worries - I was just worried that I'd done something wrong. All's cool! 86.152.203.212 21:09, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AutoWikiBrowser

[edit]

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp 16:18, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't actually edited any articles. You've just reverted a crapload of vandalism. That's commendable, but I'm concerned about your editing knowledge... alphachimp 19:09, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't want to be a troll here (the type on a bridge, not in a forum). Can you explain what you intend to use AWB for? alphachimp 19:12, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to "Death of Ayrton Senna"

[edit]

Jsc83,

I changed a space to a hyphen in my change seen here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Death_of_Ayrton_Senna&diff=127466291&oldid=127466086

...which you reverted, sending me a message that I had removed content.

Can you help me understand what content was removed and how it happened so I do not do it again? I see no missing content between my revision and the surrounding one, aside from the single changed character.

Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.114.87.90 (talk) 18:16, 1 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I have replied to this message here. Jsc83 18:51, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Me asking for help

[edit]

{{helpme}} Hi, thanks for looking at my help request! My issue is that I have added an {{expand}} template to Equity (trade union), but it clashes with the infobox, in my browser at least. How would you add templates, or edit the article, so that the templates don't clash? I'd rather know how to fix this, if it's even an issue, than someone 'just doing it'. Thanks! Jsc83 19:59, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed it but the thing was that you should add {{expand}} template to the top of the page even on top of the infobox..--Cometstyles 20:10, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:PrimulaCheese.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:36, 5 January 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. The Helpful One (Talk) (Contributions) (Review Me!) 16:36, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Altonwatersports.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
