Torsion bar diagrams

[edit]

The diagrams you created for the article torsion beam suspension are excellent—very clear, clean-looking, and you can even feel the way the load is being applied at a glance.

I have just a minor quibble. If the grey plate represents a vehicle's fixed frame element, and the green a suspension element for a road wheel, then I think the load from the weight of the vehicle would normally be applied in the other direction, with the end of the lever staying at the same level, and the frame element settling lower.

Hope I don't come across as critical; the diagrams serve their purpose well. Thanks for the contribution. Michael Z. 2007-08-28 04:28 Z

Did you create this graphic yourself? If so, please add a note to the image description so there is no question about the copyright status later. Thanks, Calliopejen1 10:53, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
