Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Robertwcone.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:28, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Robert W. Cone[edit]

Hey, good job on the general's article. The only thing I wanted to mention was the wikilinks. When you started the article, your links were just fine. But on this edit, you changed the style of links to external links—even for things that were internal to other wiki articles. As a result, when I came to the article tonight, only two of the links went to anything, and even they weren't really all that appropriate. So I've reverted to standard wiki style. It's a good article, but you should probably review how to create links (though I admit that the page I just gave you is not very helpful). Anyway, good job on the article, look forward to seeing you around. Unschool (talk) 03:45, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Mike Ziegelhofer! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

File:Hoodbrief.JPG needs authorship information[edit]

Dear uploader:

The media file you uploaded as File:Hoodbrief.JPG appears to be missing information as to its authorship (and or source), or if you did provide such information, it is confusing for others trying to make use of the image.

It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.

Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided), authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).

  • If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which: {{subst:usernameexpand|Mike Ziegelhofer}} will produce an appropriate expansion,
    or use the {{own}} template.
  • If this is an old image, for which the authorship is unknown or impossible to determine, please indicate this on the file description page.
If you have any questions please see Help:File page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:17, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Files missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 08:33, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
