Hello there! My main acount is on the french WP (^-^)

I would like to improve the Web accessibility (WCAG 2.0) and the Web usability of the english Wikipedia.

Current work

I'm currently not very active, focusing on real life. But I appear sometimes, I like to keep in touch. I gladly share my opinion on accessibility topics when asked, you can reach me at my talk page or by mail.

Work done

Main work :

1. Improvement of WP:ALT (reminder: External review and Proposal to remove alt text requirement, table summary should not be a good practice)
2. Improvement of Wikipedia:Manual of Style (accessibility)
   • Improvements of several guidelines, addition of several guidelines.
   • Creation of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility/Data tables tutorial, experimenting with its application on several wikiprojects, feedback, improvements.

Small old tasks :

1. Improvement of accessibility of stub icons in stub templates

   Began the 3rd of July 2009, came to end the 24th of august 2009.

   Work done: Initiated discussion (as well on IRC), requested advice to Jidanni, Graham87, Xeno (and asked Xeno to take care of the tak with his bot, kept up with the discussion and left comment when needed, improved Wikipedia:Alternative text for images

   Xeno has done almost everything, with the occasional help of many users

2. Design improvement for MediaWiki:Protectedpagetext: now easier to identify sections, the eye is not carried away. Also, this design is mostly made of DIVs, and one table that is coded like a presentation table. So it improved accessibility too. Implemented the 24 of May 2010.

1. Improvement of WP:COLOURS
2. Defining the priorities and coordinating tasks at Wikipedia:WikiProject Accessibility.
3. Improvement of Navbox
4. I'd like to work on the redesign of the main page. I'm inspired by some work: Wikipedia:2008 main page redesign proposal/88wolfmaster, Wikipedia:2008 main page redesign proposal/Combined proposal (Scottydude).
