Photos

Hello again; you mentioned a little while ago that you had lots of photos of Kamakura; I'm gradually trying to list (hopefully as a prelude to more substantial enumeration) the various cultural properties, starting with those of national significance, but below the NTs/Specials; I've got as far as Kamakura-period ICP structures and the Historic Sites of Kanagawa (not too many red links with this one), and there are a few entries where I'm not spotting any images at Commons or on Japanese Wikipedia; if and when you have time and of course only if you're interested, I don't suppose you happen to have images of any of these: [1], [2] (= [3]?), [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11]; quite a long list (and there may be more at some point, when I get further forward in time and down to the prefectural/municipal designations...) Great, and especially so that you'll be back at some point, content creation has slowed a bit recently; thank you about the photos and yes, I wonder whether "official business" might open (I hope not close) some doors; perhaps some kind of Foundation badge/letter might help - if it meant sculptures etc could be imaged too, that would be even better, but that's probably hoping for too much.

In terms of a full list of what is needed, perhaps I should email you in a few weeks once the historic sites/ICP lists have filled out a bit; perhaps at some point (one of two things on and off wiki to do) I could add the prefectural historic sites to the Kanagawa listing and finish off the ICP buildings lists; I guess the end goal would be to have (multiple?) images of all 579 designated properties (some with multiple components) per this count, and of all the registered items too! Unfortunately and unusually I can't find a complete listing at the municipal level for Kamakura, just these headline counts; checking entries with 鎌倉市 against them in this itemised list of national and prefectural cultural properties in Kanagawa runs to three figures worth, but that still means we're missing at least the 296 municipal designations (including 32 structures and 9 sites)... Perhaps best as a long-term, multi-user effort! Then, once the total corpus of each type is established across the whole nation, more ambitious undertakings such as "Japanese architecture" and "Japanese art" might be attempted... Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Okuden, chuden

Hello! Do you happen to know what an Okuden (奥殿) is? JAANUS is a bit mysterious about it, see [12] and [13]. It turned up in the newly designated NT, Kangi-in (歓喜院), Shōden Hall (聖天堂 shōden-dō), see for instance [[14]].
