Hi Warbie and welcome to WikiPedia. I've noticed that you appear to be creating quite a few articles on ice hockey players. You may be interested in becoming a member of the Ice Hockey WikiProject. When you create a new ice hockey related article could you add the ice hockey template to the talk page of the article so that it shows as being part of the ice hockey project. Also if the article is a biographical one you should add the WPBiography template to its talk page as well. All the best -- JD554 10:23, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:Carl Greenhous.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Elite Ice Hockey League players[edit]

Hey! I noticed that you been adding Category:Elite Ice Hockey League players to a bunch of player articles. Just to note, there are now individual team categories that should be used instead of the whole league category. You can find these at Category:Ice hockey players by club in the United Kingdom. The league wide category has essentially become redundant now that these team categories exist. Thanks. – Nurmsook! talk... 18:01, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Chad Brandimore[edit]

The article Chad Brandimore has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable player, fails WP:BIO

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Warbie! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 944 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Luke Boothroyd - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Lenny Johnrose - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Disambiguation link notification for December 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Marvin Bartley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dean Marney (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
