The 2018 National Invitational Tournament is a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I Team that were not selected to participate in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The annual tournament will be played on campus sites in the first three rounds (the host team being the higher seeding) with the semifinals and championship game bring held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Schedule

The NIT Schedule will begin on Tuesday March 13 on campus sites. The first three rounds will be played on campus sites. The Semifinals will be held on Tuesday March 27. and the Championship Game will be held on Thursday March 29 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Media

ESPN, Inc. will have exclusive television rights to all the NIT Games. It will be telecast every game across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN3. Westwood One will have exclusive radio rights to the semifinals and the championship.
