Galba is a genus of small air-breathing freshwater snails, aquatic pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Lymnaeidae, the pond snails. The best-known species in the genus is Galba truncatula.
The genus Galba is known from the Jurassic to the Recent periods.[2]
