Andrija Pavlović (Serbian Cyrillic: Андрија Павловић; born 16 November 1993) is a Serbian football forward who plays for Copenhagen.

Club career

Rad

Born in Belgrade,[1] Pavlović made his first football steps with Policajac. Later, he moved in Rad, where he was trained by Marko Nikolić.[2] He made his senior debut in the last fixture of 2010–11 Serbian SuperLiga. Later, he was loaned to Palić and BASK where he has gained senior experience,[1] before he was promoted to the first team.[3] Pavlović scored his first senior goal for Rad in a match against Radnički Kragujevac, played on 14 September 2013.[4] He was also the scorer in a cup match against Borac Čačak on 25 September the same year.[5] After 10 years spent with Rad, he left the club in the winter break off-season 2013–14.[2]

Čukarički

Pavlović joined Čukarički at the beginning of 2014.[6] After knee surgery[2] and passing a recovery period, he made 4 appearancces until the end of 2013–14 season. In the 2014–15 season, he made 21 league and 4 cup appearances and scored 1 goal against Napredak Kruševac in the first SuperLiga fixture, played on 9 August 2014.[7] During the season, he made 12 starts and usually played as a winger.[2] After Nikola Stojiljković left the club, Pavlović became first-choice striker for the 2015–16 season, and signed a new four-year contract until summer 2019.[8] He opened the season scoring a hat-trick in the first fixture against Vojvodina.[9] Later, he was a scorer in both matches against OFK Beograd and scored both goals in a 2–7 defeat to Red Star Belgrade[10] in the first half of the season. He also scored 2 goals in a cup match against Mokra Gora.[11] After scoring 10 goals in 5 matches in April 2016 he was nominated as player of the month.[12]

Copenhagen

On 9 June 2016, Pavlović signed a five-year contract with Copenhagen.[13]

International career

Pavlović appeared for U20 selection. In 2013, he was called up to the Serbia national under-21 football team under coach Radovan Ćurčić for some friendly matches.[14] In 2015, he was added to the Serbia national under-23 football team squad by Milan Rastavac for a friendly match against Qatar.[15] After impressing during the 2015–16 season with Čukarički in the Serbian SuperLiga, Slavoljub Muslin selected him for Serbia national football team squad for several friendly matches in 2016.[16] Pavlović made his first appearance for the Serbia national football team in a 2–1 friendly win against Cyprus in May 2016.[17]
