Austrian-French relations are foreign relations between Austria and France. Both countries have diplomatic relations since the Middle Ages. Austria has an embassy in Paris, a general consulate in Strasbourg and 7 honorary consulates (in Ajaccio, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Papeete and Toulouse). France has an embassy in Vienna and 6 honorary consulates (in Bregenz, Groß Sankt Florian, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz and Salzburg). Both countries are full members of the European Union.
