CKRN-DT is a television station in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Owned and operated by RNC Media, it is a private affiliate of Radio-Canada and basically functions as a semi-satellite of Montreal Radio-Canada flagship station CBFT-DT due to not having alternative non-network sources of programming available.
The station first aired on December 25, 1957. It was originally a dual affiliate of Radio-Canada and the English-language CBC. The CBC subsequently launched a rebroadcaster of its English Montreal affiliate CBMT in the area in 1961, and CKRN dropped its English programming in 1962.
RNC Media also owns CFEM-DT in Rouyn-Noranda and CFVS-DT in Val-d'Or.
