This category is for child rulers from the Indian subcontinent, Central, East and South-east Asia. These areas are grouped solely because of size of the category. Categories of a more specific nature (such as region or period) may be created if it is felt that this category becomes too large.

"Child ruler" generally means one occupying an office of supreme temporal authority who has not yet attained the age of majority. It will almost always mean that actual rule is exercised by others. See Category:Child rulers for further definition and discussion.
