Club Atlético Temperley is a sports club from the city of Temperley in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. The club is mostly known for its football team, which currently plays in the Primera B Metropolitana, the regionalised third division of the Argentine football league system.

History

Temperley was founded on 1912 by two brothers who gave it the name Club de Football Centenario. Temperley was affiliated to Argentine Football Association in 1917, and in 1921 the name changed to Club Atlético Temperley which has remained since then.

Temperley played a total of 7 seasons in the Argentine Primera División, which came in 2 spells, 1975-1977 and 1983-1987.

The team's best ever finishes in the top flight came when Temperley reached the semi-finals of the 1983 Metropolitano championship, losing to the eventual champions Estudiantes LP. Temperley best campaign ever was in the Torneo Nacional played in 1975 (placed 8th).
