Daniel Petrie, Jr. (born November 30, 1951),[1] the son of Daniel Petrie, Sr., is perhaps best known as one of the screenwriters of the mid-1980s hit movies Beverly Hills Cop and The Big Easy as well as the director of Toy Soldiers.[2][3]
He was also president of the western chapter of the Writers Guild of America in the 2000s.
