Joftan (Persian: جفتان), also Romanized as Joftān and Jaftān; also known as Jaghtān,^[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Rudbar Rural District of the Central District of Tafresh County, Markazi province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 182 in 73 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 199 people in 84 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 382 people in 154 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
