Kangkar LRT station (SE4) is an LRT station on the Sengkang LRT Line East Loop in Singapore. It was opened in January 2003. It is operated by SBS Transit.
Despite the name, Kangkar Mall, opened on October 2009, is located next to Hougang MRT Station and nowhere near this LRT station.

[edit] Etymology
The station is located at a former fishery and was a familiar landmark to older generation of the residents. Kangkar means "river bank or "river mouth" in Teochew and Hokkien (Min Nan).
