Leandro Martín González Pirez (born 26 February 1992) is an Argentine football centre back who plays for River Plate.

Club career[edit]

González Pirez played his first professional game for River Plate coming on as a 90th minute substitute in a 2–1 win over Newell's Old Boys, for the 2011 Clausura.[1]

International career[edit]

González Pirez's first FIFA World Cup tournament was with the Argentina U-17 national team at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup held in Nigeria, where he made three appearances.[2] In 2011, he was included in the U-20 national team to contest the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup.[3]
