McAlester Arboretum

The McAlester Arboretum (4 acres) is an arboretum located in McAlester Park (Peace Park) at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. It should not be confused with the Garrard Ardeneum in McAlester, Oklahoma, which is sometimes called the McAlester Arboretum. The arboretum contains more than 100 trees of 43 varieties. Future plans include adding several genera of trees and shrubs important to the Mid-Missouri region.
