"Milas Poli" (Greek script: Μιλάς πολύ, English translation: "You Talk Too Much") was the Cypriot entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1990, performed in Greek by Anastazio (artistic name for Theocharis Anastasiou). Anastazio took dancing seriously by taking classes (the Foreign Students program) at the Alvin Ailey - The American Dance Center in New York 1983–1986, a few times being a classmate with Madonna (early 1983).
In December 1985, after winning the Cypriot National competition for disco dancing he represented the country at the Malibu World Disco Dancing Championship, which took place in London, UK, at the Hippodrome Club.
Anastazio was at the Eurovision song contest for the first time in 1987 dancing on stage while the singer Alexia was singing the Cyprus entry "Aspro-Mavro" in Brussells. Eurovision song contest 1989 and Anastazio wrote the lyrics-English version ("Tonight will last forever") for the Cypriot entry "Apopse As Vrethoume", a composition of the Cypriot composer Marios Meletiou. Anastazio appeared on stage as the lead singer for Cyprus at the Eurovision song contest 1990 in Zagreb (Yugoslavia at the time, after winning at the Cyprus national contest some of Greece ms and Cyprus's leading artists such as Evridiki-George Theofanous, Alex Panayi, Aristos Moshovakis and others. 1990 was the first CYBC held an open – on the air – live competition for the selection of the song for the ESContest. Anastazio also had worked out the presentation and choreography in Zagreb. One more time in 1991 Anastazio wrote the lyrics for the English version of the Cypriot entry "SOS" (..the earth will take no more, another senseless war SOS...), with Elena Patroklou as the lead singer in Rome - Italy.
Anastazio s Milas Poly in 1990 was performed twenty-first on the night (following Austria's Simone with "Keine Mauern mehr" and preceding Finland's Beat with "Fri?"). At the close of voting, it had received 36 points, placing 14th in a field of 22. Same year Anastazio was voted by the readers of the Flash magazine in Cyprus as artist of the year.
The song is a love song, with Anastasiou complaining to his lover that she talks too much and as a result he doesn't know how to express his love best. It was also recorded in English as "Walk Away," and both versions were released as a 12-inch single in Cyprus. The style of the song was influenced by British producers Stock Aitken Waterman.
Anastazio between 1987 and 1992 was teaching at his own Dance Academy – The Jazz Center – in Limassol Cyprus. During those years Anastazio choreographed for Reebok – Cyprus and with his Academy presented shows all around the country in public theaters,very often performed in popular shows and prestigious events on Cyprus TV, also performed with his dancers during mexclusive events and functions in the presence of Presidents of Cyprus and people of the highest rank of the political, social and business scene of the country.
Between 1993 and 1995 Anastazio had appeared on stage in Greece with the country's top artists like the composer Marios Tokas, Manolis Mitsias, Margarita zorbala (Taboo Club-Pangrati-Athens), the composer Yiannis Spanos, Elpida, Kostas Karalis (Vivere CluB, Kifisia-Athens), Vasilis Karras, Notis Sfakianakis, Eleni Peta, Alexia and others (Politeia Club , Thessaloniki). While singing Anastazio had also worked out the choreography for the above mentioned shows.
1994 and EPIC-Sony music label releases Anastazio's first LP in Greece with the title AnastasioS.
Since 1999 Anastazio has traveled the world with his own one-man show.
Anastazio was succeeded as Cypriot representative at the 1991 Contest by Elena Patroklou with "SOS".
