Nolan Gerard Funk (b. 1986) is an award nominated Canadian actor, Broadway performer, recording artist, and dancer best known as Nikko Alexander in the movie Spectacular!, and as Conrad Birdie in the 2009 Broadway revival of the musical Bye Bye Birdie.

Nolan Gerard Funk is a Canadian-German actor and has an older sister named Natanya.

In addition to his work in the film Spectacular!, produced by Nickelodeon Movies, he has made numerous appearances on television shows including Supernatural, The L Word, Smallville, Warehouse 13, Lie to Me, Detroit 187, Hellcats and Castle, and played a recurring role on Aliens in America. His movie appearances include a small role in X2. In 2006, he portrayed Michael Magidson in A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story, one of the men convicted of murdering Gwen Araujo, a transgendered woman.[1]

On January 12, 2009, he had his first live concert performance, appearing at New York City's Hard Rock Cafe.[2] He also had a guest role in the television series Castle. Nolan played the title role of singer Conrad Birdie in the revival of the Broadway musical Bye, Bye Birdie, which began previews at Henry Miller's Theatre on September 10, 2009, and ran for a limited run from October 15, 2009 to January 24, 2010.[3]

Funk is involved with Nickelodeon's The Big Green Help, which promotes environmental awareness among children and teenagers.[4]

In 2007, Funk was nominated for a Leo Award in the "Best Performance or Host in a Youth or Children's Program or Series" category for his work on Renegadepress.com.[5]
