Now That's What I Call Music! 50 or Now 50 was released in 2001. The album is the 50th edition of the (UK) Now! series. It was released on audio cassette & CD formats. It is one of the biggest selling albums of the series, going 6x Platinum and selling over 1,800,000 copies.^{[citation needed]}

Now 50 features eight songs that reached number one on the UK Singles Chart: "Can't Get You Out of My Head", "Uptown Girl", "Hey Baby!", "Mambo No. 5", "Let's Dance", "If You Come Back", "21 Seconds" and "Because I Got High".

The N-Trance song "Set You Free" previously appeared on Now 30.
