"Pelo Suelto" is the signature song of Gloria Trevi. The song came out in 1991 in the album Tu ángel de la guarda. It became her most successful song and toped all the Latin charts. Pelo suelto was written by Mary Morin who wrote many songs for Gloria Trevi. It means "loose hair" and fit perfectly with her style. Pelo Suelto was also made into a movie and became a box office hit. Following Pelo Suelto came two more successful movies Zapatos Viejos and Papa sin catsup also becoming box office success.
