Rain or Shine (Korean: 그냥 사랑하는 사이; RR: Geunyang Saranghaneun Sai; lit. Just Between Lovers) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Lee Jun-ho and Won Jin-ah, with Lee Ki-woo and Kang Han-na. It is about people's love, hope and dream despite their painful past. It premiered on December 11, 2017 as JTBC's first series on Mondays and Tuesdays at 23:00 KST time slot.[1][2][3][4]
Synopsis
The story of two individuals who lost their loved ones in a tragic accident and try to carry on with their lives as if they are not in pain.

Production
- Rain or Shine was written by Yoo Bo-ra of Secret Love (2013) and directed by Kim Jin-won, the same director of The Innocent Man (2012), Wonderful Days (2014) and Hello Monster (2015).
- It is produced by Celltrion Entertainment, the company behind the TV series Wang's Family (2013), Age of Youth (2016) and Tomorrow, With You (2017), as well as the 2017 film Uhm Bok-dong.[12]
- The first script reading of the cast was held on August 22, 2017.[13]
- The series marks Lee Jun-ho's first lead role in a TV series, as well as rookie actress Won Jin-ah's first-ever major role. She was selected for the role out of 120 candidates.[5][14]
