The Sarasota Orioles were a minor league baseball team, and an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles from 1991 to 2003. They played home games in Sarasota, Florida. The team was a member of the Gulf Coast League. Due to the addition of the Aberdeen IronBirds to the Orioles' farm system in 2002, the Sarasota Orioles were discontinued after the 2003 season.
On December 1, 2006, the Baltimore Orioles announced that they would add a minor league team in the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League for the 2007 season. This team has played as part of the South Division of the GCL.
