Plot
The story begins at the time of Treta Yuga when Lord Rama breaks the Siva Dhanussu, the bow of Lord Siva. Chandrasena, a Nagakanya, loves and dedicates her life to him. But unfortunately, Mahiravana, king of Patalalanka captures her. During the time of war, Ravana, calls for Mahiravana and seeks his help. Then Mahiravana promises Ravana that he will offer Rama and Lakshmana to Goddess Mahakaali by the next morning. Learning it, Anjaneya makes a fort with his tail surrounding Rama and Lakshmana. But Mahiravana arrives in the form of Vibhishana and kidnaps Rama and Lakshmana to Patalalanka by making their statues. Outraged, Anjaneya reaches Pathalalanka and tries to eliminate Mahiravana but he couldn't as his life is secretly hidden.
On the advice of Sage Narada, he asks Chandrasena to disclose the whereabouts of Mahiravana's life. In return, Chandrasena asks that his God should become her God. Anjaneya couldn't understand the internal meaning of her wish and he agrees. Chandrasena tactfully finds out the secret and Rama kills Mahiravana. Before leaving, Rama learns Chandrasena's wish because it is against the nature of Rama Avatar, he gives her the boon that her wish will be fulfilled in Dvapara Yuga when he takes birth as Lord Krishna.
Eras pass by, Lord Vishnu takes incarnation as Lord Krishna, Chandrasena is born as Satyabhama and marries Krishna. Here Satyabhama is a beautiful, proud, self-respected, egotistical, the possessive lady who wants to acquire Krishna's complete love without sharing it with others. So, on the provocation of Narada, she performs a religious ritual when she has to donate to her husband and recover him by paying his weight in gold. But unfortunately, she couldn't weigh him with her wealth as she doesn't realize that Krishna will only yield to his disciples whether it may be a leaf, water, or fruit.
Ultimately, Rukmini weighs him with one Tulasidalam (basil leaf) by praying when Satyabhama realizes her mistake and again becomes his devotee. Later, Krishna as an embassy to the Pandavas moves for negotiations with the Kauravas. But it fails, they try to capture him, but he shows his "Viswaroopam", and the entire world forms in him and moves. The film ends with Lord Krishna reciting the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna.

Reddy the choice of directing either of the films for Rama Rao's production house. K. V. Reddy chose the latter.[5] The plot of Sri Krishna Satya is linked to both Treta Yuga and Dvapara Yuga. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao as Lord Krishna and Jayalalithaa as his consort Satyabhama. After shooting a large part of the film, K. V. Reddy fell ill. Then, Rama Rao finished the remaining portions under the supervision of K. V. Reddy.[2]
