Orphaned references in 1936 in paleontology[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 1936 in paleontology's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Wolfe1977":

  • From 1968 in paleontology: Wolfe, J.A. (1977). "Paleogene floras from the Gulf of Alaska region". (Report). Professional Paper. Vol. 997. United States Geological Survey. pp. 1–108. doi:10.3133/pp997. {{cite report}}: Missing or empty |title= (help)
  • From 1977 in paleontology: Wolfe, J.A. (1977). Paleogene floras from the Gulf of Alaska region (Report). Professional Paper. Vol. 997. United States Geological Survey. pp. 1–108. doi:10.3133/pp997.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:16, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

broken reference[edit]

@Kevmin:, you've recently added material to this article that uses "Wolfe1977". But that reference isn't defined, so the material you've added isn't referenced. Are you able to provide this citation? Is it meant to be this one, that you added to other articles? <ref name="Wolfe1977">{{cite report |last1=Wolfe |first1=J.A. |year=1977 |title=Paleogene floras from the Gulf of Alaska region |series=Professional Paper |publisher=United States Geological Survey |volume= 997 |pages=1–108 |doi=10.3133/pp997 |doi-access=free }}</ref> -- Mikeblas (talk) 21:41, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
