Census website on blacklist[edit]

I cannot add any links for census2011.co.in because it is listed in Wikipedia's blacklist. Can anyone remove? NagalimNE (talk) 07:29, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see a lot of articles using this website as a citation now. Has the blacklisting changed? If so, why? Can someone {{help}} me out please? Tanyasingh (talk) 10:08, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tanyasingh, "a lot of articles"? Links please. Cabayi (talk) 17:45, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Tanyasingh and Cabayi: MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist/archives/April 2020 § census2011.co.in, the most recent whitelisting request, was declined as not being the official census data. The earliest blacklisting request I could find is under MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist/archives/May 2019 § onefivenine.com. Perhaps the results of a census2011.co.in HTTPS links HTTP links query were added before May 2019. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 18:25, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that deep research, @Rotideypoc41352: !! @NagalimNE:, these articles That's one too many :|  : Tanyasingh (talk) 05:47, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

Pasting deleted material from another article[edit]

I've just deleted the following material from the page Baháʼí Faith in India as a violation of WP:SYNTH. However it may be useful for this page.

The census has been under some criticism and scholars regularly use corrections.[1][2]

– Per consensus reached at Talk:2020_United_States_census/Archive_1#Requested_move_16_November_2020 that "census" is a common noun and should be lowercase. This move would put these articles in line with other similar articles such as 1950 United States census, 2021 Canadian census, and 1841 census of Ireland. As always, feel free to suggest any that I may have missed. Woko Sapien (talk) 18:51, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
