Surname[edit]

What is the origin of his surname? Badagnani (talk) 18:09, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of his family[edit]

From whence did Ayler's ancestors come before they lived in Cleveland? I assume somewhere in the American South. Badagnani (talk) 18:09, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Naked aggression[edit]

This is a very poor description of Ayler's music. Can we remove it from the opening paragraph? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.136.60 (talk) 11:09, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Live performances including Slugs in NYC[edit]

Anton Mikofsky 207.237.105.111 (talk) 08:16, 28 February 2016 (UTC) Google (hate to say it) "Slugs jazz club" and you will find some good sources and a great photo of the Quintet in front of the club circa 1966 if you have permission you can include it. There is also a radio New Zealand interview with one of the 2 clubowners that mentions Ayler -- missing link. And you need more about the Coltrane funeral.[reply]

add to musicians influenced by him[edit]

Anton Mikofsky 207.237.105.111 (talk) 08:21, 28 February 2016 (UTC) David Murray (link back to the entry under his name)[reply]

Children[edit]

Didn't Albert Ayler have at least one child (a son, named Curtis Roundtree)? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 01:46, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Whether or not, two criteria should be met before including this in the article: Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:WEIGHT. ---Sluzzelin talk 01:03, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
