Immortal Killed?[edit]

I don't really see what the big deal is about the immortality thing. Angela is immortal in the same sense that Highlanders are immortal: they will live forever unless killed in a very specific way. Granted, one loop hole I've noticed in the comic is that they are heavy to emphasize that an Angel can only be killed by decapatation (see Spawn and Cog's discussion after Spawn "killed" Tiffany.) Angela was not beheaded (she was impaled by Malebolgia with her own spear), so did she really die? Regardless, the "immortality" label is a question of semantics: does immortality mean can never die, or can never die by natural means?
Perhaps the label indefinite lifespan would be more appropriate?

Immortality simply means what it has always meant, an immortal never dies of old age. All mortals (i.e. humans), whether through disease or natural causes, will eventually die. An immortal, however, will not - they will simply continue to keep living, year after year, decade after decade, century after century, eon after eon. However immortal does not mean, and has ever meant, indestructible. I don't know why you weirdos insist on popping out of the woodwork every so often and try to equate immortality with invulnerability, but they are not, never have been, and no matter how hard you try, never will be the same.

Intercompany Crossovers?[edit]

Were Glory/Angela and/or Aria/Angela actually intercompany crossovers, as the articles states? As far as I know Aria has always been an Image character. Glory, on the other hand, had a brief stint as an Awesome comics and Avatar Press character, but what company was Glory/Angel printed under? I think it was Image. Check these out:

Good point, but the problem lies elsewhere: crossover is a disambig listing only Intercompany crossover as relevant to comics. Other Hellspawn slayers[edit]

The Other Hellspawn slayers section is getting a little bit out of hand, especially since it's duplicated in the Tiffany page, which mean any edits need to be duplicated in two articles. Perhaps a "Hellspawn slayer" page would be more appropriate? It would clear up the Angela and Tiffany pages, and it could still link to individual pages, as well as give more detailed information on lesser-known Hellspawn slayers. Any objections/thoughts?

True, that would probably make more sense than having the list in two different pages, but I think the Spawn (comics) page is gretting pretty bloated and unfocused as well. It seems to jump back and forth between the comic itself and the character. But that's a whole different problem... What I proposed in that discussion page was to split that article into two seperate articles, one about the comic and one about the character. But, either way, I think it would be better to move the list into the main spawn page, at least for now.

Fair use rationale for Image:Angela hunter.jpg[edit]

Image:Angela hunter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. I think Gaiman owns her in full now[edit]

I know in early 2012, Gaiman and McFarlane settled the legal rights to their co-creations. The Art of Todd McFarlane book states in its legal indicia that Angela (as well as Domina, Tiffany and all other Heaven's Warrior Angel characters) is solely owned by Gaiman now. Coupled with the fact that Cogliostro recently appeared in an issue of Spawn without any mention of Gaiman in that issue's legal indicia, maybe McFarlane traded Gaiman the former's share in Angela and the angels in exchange for the latter's share in Cog (and possibly Medieval Spawn and Dark Ages Spawn). --JFP (talk) 20:43, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
