EU directive for carriers of refugees[edit]

The video "Why Boat Refugees Don't Fly!" by Gapminder has some info that is not yet in the article. --Distelfinck (talk) 13:27, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

political asylum of those persecuted in the European Union[edit]

Do we have any other cases of political asylum awarded to EU citizens persecuted in the EU, apart from Rafał Gaweł? Boud (talk) 16:35, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Graphs[edit]

I've just inserted two graphs: one showing the total number of asylum applications from 1998 to 2020 (transplanted from European refugee crisis, and another showing the breakdown by country of origin from 2008 to 2019. I know the content of these partly overlaps partially and won't object if someone removes one of them. The problem is that the country breakdown isn't (as far as I know) available for before 2008. We could remove the other one (1998-2020) with the rationale that asylum policy didn't become a pan-European issue in the public mind until the 2000s. --Tserton (talk) 03:04, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I thought of a way to combine them into one. It's not perfect but better than having two rather similar graphs on the same page. --Tserton (talk) 05:44, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Tserton, I had a look. I think what you did looks okay. Nowearskirts (talk) 05:59, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
